75 Years of History

 On Saturday, March 31st, we will have a symposium honoring the 75th

Anniversary of the establishment of the History Department at NC
State. As part of the larger 125th Anniversary celebration for the
university, this symposium will reflect on the importance of history
education and scholarship at NC State.

We are inviting all alumni, students, faculty, emeriti, staff, and
friends of the department to return to celebrate with us: a
homecoming. We will have a presentation
on the history of the department, an alumni panel on how and why
history is relevant to their lives, keynote addresses, presentations
by students, a faculty panel, and a presentation by an emeritus, as
well as recognition of all emeriti faculty.
