Megan Cullen Tewell is a 2nd year PhD student in Public History. Her primary focus is on creating and developing collaborative public history initiatives with a critical edge. She has been affiliated with The City of Raleigh Museum, The Chipstone Foundation, The Indiana State Museum, the Indiana State Archive, and the Kentucky Historical Society.

Megan is currently completing her dissertation, which examines the interpretation of sites of mass incarceration (namely, federal penitentiaries) in a public history context.
