Biography
Lauren is interested in the relationship between public history and the environment. Her research focuses on the role of tourism in coastal landscapes. Specifically, her dissertation will investigate the development of tourism on the Outer Banks in North Carolina, and both the impact and connection between tourism and cultural heritage.
